The luxury fashion industry
The luxury fashion industry has been far too good at killing their boys in recent years. Do we have to rehearse the evils: the demoralization that comes from being able to hire and fire talented people within a few months, the demand that the stores place on indie designers? Well, the writing is now on the wall. A system can only accommodate a generation until it rises defiantly. If someone has feared that the despair and the devotion of dreams would destroy the ambitions of creative fashion, then - Hallelujah - they are wrong.
